THIS PART: UPDATED 12/15/2000

Yes, I have decided to make yet another website for my THIRD favorite Christian Rock/Pop band (first Petra, second Whiteheart) PFR. PFR is one of those kinds of bands that can make really good albums that you like all or almost all of the songs on the album, especially the album "Them". I just wanted to make a PFR site for all you PFR-fanatics that want the quickest info about them. Well after making my [potential, lol] award winning website PETRAFIED.NET, I hope this one is also really liked among the masses. :) And I hope everyone likes the stuff that I have compiled on this website. I've never been to any PFR concerts; I was a little late getting into PFR. Unfortunately, PFR has broken up, and are no longer a band*. The thing going around now is that God is leading them in different directions. They have done some reunions, I heard, but I know they are done. The bass player (Andrew) went on to form a band with some buddies called "Eager". They came out with one album, but I'm not sure what's going on with them. Joel is going solo, and his latest album just came out, called "Captured". Go to www.joelhanson.com to check it out and you can even buy it online! He also helped write my newest favorite Petra ballad, "The Longing", which is on Petra's latest album "Double Take" which came out this year [2000]. For more information about "The Longing" or any other Petra related stuff, please visit my Petra website @ http://www.petrafied.net.

As I was saying, PFR is no longer in existence, but the music is still just as good as it always was, still touching hearts and blaring out of my speakers! :) Anyway, I really wish I had known PFR before they quit so I could go to one of their concerts. They quit in 1997, and that is when I just started getting into music and stuff, but that was a little too late. Oh well, at least I have all their CD's! Well if you would like to know more information about their CD's, click here. Otherwise, click here to go back to the main page.

UPDATE AS ON 1/11/2003:

Wow. It has been over 2 years since I last updated this site, and since then, PFR had a reunion, made a FULL studio album, and went on tour, and then disbanded again (for the most part). They even did some live unplugged sets.  When Audiogalaxy was all the rage, I was at my school, downloading live versions of songs like "Amsterdam" and "Closer" that were done with an acoustic guitar.  WOW.  I am so sorry I didn't update this site. It's just that I was so convinced that PFR would never come back and do another album. Man, was I wrong. And, I also thought I had completely lost the website. The thing is, I had lost the folder called "PFR" in the "My Documents" folder on my computer, so I just assumed it was gone. And incidentally, I forget where the site was because it was so long since I updated it.  But one day I was clicking around some of my old links and I found it! But it's still been about a year since I updated since then so, here we go! But still, a lot of the material from the last update it true. PFR doesn't expect to go back and do another studio album together. But hey, that said that back in 1996! So, anything could happen folks. I have faith that they will come back maybe in 2007 and do another album. ;)
