Year: 1994

This album had some changes over the style of music PFR had on the first 2 albums. I liked about 7 of the songs on here, but for some reason this one didn't do as good as the last 2. But they have 2 of some of the best songs PFR has ever done, "Merry Go Round" and "Great Lengths". Nice guitar on first one, great lyrics on second one. "It's you Jesus" has a synth drum beat with short guitar riffs, and it wasn't really the best thing they've ever done.  But it's got some smooth vocals by Joel.  Also, "Blind Man, Deaf Boy", and "Life Goes On" was different from the older PFR style, but I thought it was strangely interesting and pleasant. Other great ballads are "The Grace of God" and "See the Sun Again". "Trials Turned to Gold" is actually an old Keith Green song and they remade that one pretty good with cool guitar! On "Last Breath", Pat does something really amazingly cool with his voice! Check it out! It's a sign of things to come (Them).
