HUH? WHOA! YEAH! Awesome! PFR is
back! And man I was so surprised to see them back on the scene with
another album. At first, I was afraid it was going to be some soft CCM
rehash deal. But no, all these songs are original and unique and mostly
AWESOME! Wow. Amsterdam starts off with an 2 guitar harmony
melody, and then it yields to Joel's awesome voice and then ROCKS OUT
in the chorus! The next song "Gone" rocks even more. By their lyrics
you can tell they have spiritually matured since their last record.
"Missing Love" is the best ballad they've EVER released and it's so
beautiful. Then we have "Even a Whisper" which has such an
addicting melody and thought provoking lyrics. "Language of the
Soul" is another beautiful sounding song with matching lyrics...that
can probably bring you to tears if you are the sensitive type
hehe. Then we got some more rockin' tunes like "Falling" and
"You". "Me" ends the album off like usual and with a great classical
sounding ending.
